Nadat deze vuurtoren in 1998 zijn functie verloor had een particulier het geweldige idee om deze vuurtoren om te bouwen tot een schitterend verblijf voor 2 personen. Na de restauratie is de Vuurtoren wederom een lichtpunt. Nu niet meer voor de schippers maar voor de gasten die comfortabel verblijven in deze vuurtoren. Vanuit de vuurtoren kan men genieten van het uitzicht over de haven en zee van Harlingen.
De Vuurtoren van Harlingen is geschikt als verblijfs- en overnachtingruimte voor twee personen. De faciliteiten bevinden zich op drie niveaus in de top:
1. Badetage met ronde douche, toilet en wastafel
2. Torenkamer met bed, zithoek en werkblad.
3. Lichthuis met omloop
De Vuurtoren van Harlingen beschikt o.a. over marifoon, telefoon, videofoon, televisie, tuner/cd-installatie, Quooker, windsnelheid- en richtingmeter en minibar.
Vuurtorenwachter
De Vuurtoren wordt nog steeds beheerd door een vuurtorenwachter. Zij verzorgt de ontvangst en is telefonisch bereikbaar voor vragen. ‘s Ochtends brengt zij de ontbijtmand met heerlijk verse broodjes.

After the lighthouse lost his function in 1998 an entrepreneur had the great idea to convert the lighthouse into a beautiful hotel for 2 persons. After restoration, the lighthouse once again was a bright spot in the harbor. Now no longer the boatman but for the guests can enjoy a comfortable stay at this lighthouse. From the lighthouse you can enjoy the view over the harbor and sea of Harlingen.
Lighthouse Harlingen is suitable as a residence and overnight for two people. The facilities are located in the top three levels:
1. Badetage round with shower, toilet and sink
2. Tower Room with bed, sitting area and work surface.
3. Light House with around a patio.
Lighthouse Harlingen features include VHF radio, telephone, videophone, TV, tuner / CD system, Quooker, wind speed and direction meter and minibar.
Lighthouse keeper
The lighthouse is still maintained by a lighthouse keeper. She takes care of the reception and reachable by telephone for questions. In the morning she brings the delicious breakfast basket with fresh bread.
